The Healthy Golden started in the summer of 2021 as a passion project of two Golden Retriever lovers searching for a healthier, longer life for their dog, Forest. As dog owners in the modern world, we now have access to an abundance of knowledge and science-based research into the health and wellness of dogs that we once did not have.

It can be overwhelming if you are just getting started, especially with a breed like Golden Retrievers that have suffered poor breeding practices that have led to generations of health issues. We saw a gap in the pet industry to make it easier for new Golden owners and veterans alike to ensure their dogs have optimal health and longevity at all life stages.
